Creating Space for Nature
We love creating more space for nature around our fab town! Contact us if you know of a space that needs a bit of TLC.
New community hedge!
Back in March, we planted a brand new hedge with local residents alongside Pondside. This new hedge will provide nesting, foraging and corridors for our wildlife to travel along. For ourselves, it will provide shade and absorb some of the water that the path gets flooded with in the winter. It's a win-win all round!
Join us for a FREE evening walk on Wednesday 25th June to learn all about our local hedges - grab your ticket on the link below >>

Can you help us look after the new hedge?
We would love to hear from you if you help keep an eye on our hedge over the years to come. It's as simple as having a quick look at it when you walk by, and letting us know if see any issues such as missing canes, missing tree guards or anything else that looks amiss.
Or, do you have a spare hour a month to help keep the grass clear at the bottom of the hedge? It's important to keep the grass down a little to ensure that the new hedgerow plants can establish and don't get swamped with grass. It's a simple as grabbing your gardening gloves and pulling some of the grass up when you pass.
